This receipe is from Sunset Magazine. It makes a lively, spicy cranberry relish, which may be too scary for some people.
12 ounce package cranberries
1 fresh jalapeno
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
5 Tablespoons lime juice (about 1 lime)
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
1/4 cup tequila
3 Tablespoons triple sec
Grind together in food processor. This makes quite a tart relish so you might like to add up to 3/4 cup dark brown sugar.
